Held my annual St. Lucia party this year and dressed the kittens up in their Christmas capes. They were hugged and kissed and passed from person to person at the party…and were absolute angels. Here they are in their post-party holiday finery. (Cheshire was a bit wiped, but extroverted Bertie is always up for another cuddle.)

JEC – we had a family of giraffes at Christmas, too! My cousin’s daughter has a big one named Harold, a medium one and a small one (Harold’s wife and child. They don’t have names of their own. I hope it’s not some kind of giraffe handmaid’s tale thing going on there). Harold was wearing a headband with a little elf hat and elf ears for the occasion.
Mike, I just sent you a pic of Stars. She hopes it’s not too late to get in on this. (Okay, well, she doesn’t care, but I do. 😸)

She didn’t actually come out on Christmas, though. She was happy behind the bed (the heater runs along that wall – hidden and warm? Yes, please!).

i can’t handle all this cuteness! First fluffy foster kitties, now adorable Miss Hattie, and Stars?? I’m ded.
Christmas was quiet on our end. Spent the day relaxing and went for a walk in our local park before going out to dinner. There’s only the two of us so made no sense to cook. Decided to shake things up and went to a lovely Japanese restaurant. We’re such a nerdy family – got several books plus jigsaw puzzles galore. And hubby’s big gift was a double sided light saber just like the ones in Star Wars.
Been off work all week and have relaxed, cleaned, organized, and gone shopping. Not sure I’ll know how to work when I go back, lol. Just took all Christmas decorations down and now waiting for hockey game to start. Our team wiped the floor with this team last night, winning 6 to 1. Let’s see if we can duplicate that tonight.
