“What the hell happened to you, Steve? You and me used to hunt birds all over this neighborhood. You were like a machine, you couldn’t get enough. And now you’re letting them nest on you? You need to get some help, dude.”
Birds are friends, not food, Sharon H.
The expression on not-Steve’s face is priceless. 😂
And the cat that befriended the crow… totally lost it.
“Don’t judge us!”
All of this is fantastic. Thank you Mike, interwebs and cats and birds of the world.
I would love to hear their late night conversations. Wonder if they ever borrow a cup of capnip?
We are coping with an Arctic outflow wind here in BC, and it is COLD!
I just put a chunk of peanut butter berry suet out on my deck, and some of the birds’ expressions are very much like not-Steve’s.
A lady across the back is putting out peanut butter and jam sandwiches for the squirrels, and their expressions are very similar, as well. It’s hysterical watching these sandwiches climbing trees. I can’t see the squirrels, just the sandwiches.
Oh my Duckie that is so dear! They’re going to love you for it.
On a parallel (albeit MUCH grander scale) I hear that good people are dropping tons of carrots and sweet potatoes in the fire-deforested areas of Australia to provide food for the wildlife.
I saw that the other day!
😢
I know Faye, I know. 😥
