Of all the animals who brave death to conquer inhospitable terrain, none are more majestic and inspiring than the Wild Alpine Ibex. These nimble mountain goats, shaped by eons of evolutionary forces, scale sheer cliffs that would send even the most experienced mountaineer plummeting to his doom. These are natural-born climbers, Steve, destined to stand above all others, Steve, so why can’t you put my supper dish up here so I can eat as nature intended? Huh, Steve? Why not, Steve?
I have so many questions, Sharon H.
I would love to know the back story on this. Holy cow! 😯
Holy cow is right!! Another post where I’m glad I wasn’t drinking anything when I scrolled down plus my first reaction was “Holy S***t!!”. Was definitely not expecting this! Have had cats do this before but never a dog. And such a large dog too, didn’t think they’d be that nimble. You know the other two dogs are just shaking their heads mentally, going “Man, can you believe this?? He is sooo not related to us”.
Epic scrolldown!
But…how..?
Somehow today’s “Thoughts of Dog” calendar page seems fitting here…
if your day didn’t go well. that’s perfectly fine. because now you get to dream. and who knows what could happen. i hope i dream i’m a penguin. so i can zoom on my belly.
Sometimes you’re the only one who sees the bed bug, man. Soon enough it will be too late…
NOT the picture I was imagining, AT ALL! 😂
Not so far fetched! (heh) If a dog can jump a fence, they can certainly mount a kitchen counter. From there, you just have to clear the top of the fridge and then it’s just a wee bit more to get on top of the cabinets.
If you dig deep into the Reddit comments, the poster explains: “She jumps on the fridge, there was a cat up there and she wanted to play.”
That’s awesome.
Also just realized, this would have been a perfect picture for a Memo from Planetary Maintenance post.
Was I the only one who heard the Hinterlands Who’s Who theme at the beginning?
Hee hee now I do! Perfect!
😀 ! They have a mountain sheep but no alpine Ibex in our territory. http://www.hww.ca/en/
The question is not “How did the dog get up there?” Rather,
“How is the dog getting down?” 😀
