“Look, I think I did you a service here. I was able to rip this seam open in literally seconds, which can only mean that the stitching and overall workmanship is way below par for a piece of furniture at this price point. You should get your money back.”

He looks so proud of himself.
And the slightly puzzled What? What? look in reaction to what was likely a bit of consternation.
He makes a good point. I vote we discontinue further discussion on this matter.
This is going to be a long night. It is extremly windy outside. I wonder how long we are still going to have electricity and internet. I have found a stop sign in my front garden, I don’t know how it ended up there. ( it was supposed to be quite far from here). Well, hopefully no wind blows forever.
Stay safe and let’s hope the weather isn’t as bad as predicted.
This sounds alarming. Where is this dangerous weather?
In Hungary. I have never thought wind could be so loud.
My goodness, Ems! Stay SAFE—and if at all possible, I hope you find a way to enjoy the drama (since it can’t be helped).
Thank you, I’m doing my best. I don’t worry about my own safety, Iam more worried about possible damages ( to the roof of the house, huge trees of the front garden possibly falling on the house/car) and about tomorrow.
How to get to work etc. Will there be public transport?
I will be honest, I have never seen anything like this before.
And of course tomorrow is a very important day at work, so I need to get in somehow. I wish I could find a volume button on the wind and my cat to be able to sleep at least a few hours 🙂
This is scary Ems…yes, please take care and hope this is over soon!
Thank you, Dulcie. The first signs of improvement can be seen, the wind is slowly diminishing so all is well, I guess.
Good news.
So finally we got over it with minor damages. 1 apple tree is down, the whole garden is covered in branches and the wind tore off a roof panel from the shed. It could have been worse.
Strong winds are also forecast in England.
Sorry but this looks like this is a mighty ignored beautiful Husky who has to spend too much ‘alone’ time. This wouldn’t happen if it wasn’t bored as all get out. Hopefully the owners didn’t reprimand this beautiful doggy. Find time to spend with him, get him outside, and run with him. I feel very sad that he has to resort to doing things like this to get attention and giving him something to do. I would bet this isn’t the first time something like this has happened.
I was thinking the same thing, Lois M.
