Storm Ciara has been brutal in Britain, I hope Alice is safe.
Cats in socks!
I’m still trying to figure out what triggered kitty to suddenly do a flip. Did he trip on a rock?
Cat and meerkat are cute, but I have to wonder why the Moscow Zoo is adopting wild animals out to private homes…..
At the end of the boing the cat is in fighting stance. I think the car surprised him and he whipped around ready to rumble.
I love the pug adoption story. I still remember getting my first dog for my 6th birthday – the absolute joyfulness!! What a really sweet little boy. โค
With all the animal-themed cafes in Japan, it’s a wonder they get anything done. I would think I’d died and gone to heaven if I could pet a capybara. ๐
Jack and Amelia made me so happy. So did the meerkat and kitty. If I ever go to Japan, I’m just visiting all the cute places and animal cafes. Winnie the puppers deserves all her fame.
Pretty sure we’ve had boing cat before, but it never gets old.
Crossing my fingers for Alice’s safety.
Thanks for your kind thoughts, both of you – parts of Yorkshire have suffered from floods and storm damage but York seems to have got off quite lightly. I was sad to see that an old windmill in the Lincolnshire village of Burgh-le-Marsh, a few miles away from where I lived as a child, was wrecked when the sails and top of the building were destroyed by strong winds.
Boing cat was too funny and especially like the music they set it to. I think Japan has now gone over the top with the animal cafes. Cat and small animal cafes are nice, especially if their purpose is to get them adopted, but having all these other “wild” animals in there?? I just don’t get it. Same with Russians or Eastern Europeans adopting supposedly “unwanted” animals from zoos.
Glad you’re doing alright Alice. That storm looks horrendous.
Russia has some serious money problems, so it’s conceivable there aren’t alternatives for struggling zoos. But they also have serious corruption problems. And it’s not like I speak Russian, so the original sources might as well be moon language.
That’s a sweet capybara but a little concerned about how it got there and if they’re being illegally trafficked like slohts
