On this Valentine’s Day, whether you’re in love or longing for love, we can all be thankful that when we find ourselves with that one special someone, it doesn’t sound like this:
From Ricky and Bibi’s Mom, via the Center for Biological Diversity: “In this video two bobcats negotiate a date via head-bobbing yowls, rapid tail twitching and awkward pauses. The female is the gray cat and the male is the red (rufus) one.”
Bob and Bobbette Duet. At least they’re in the wild!
Almost Klingon like.
Bobcats are Klingons, right?
Hahahahaha!
And they say romance is dead…
Hahahahaha.
I knew I could count on you to come up with the perfect intro, Mike!
Well, not a bobcat but a lynx family. This reminds me of the elephant and gorilla crossing the road videos from here. 🙂

Oooh, that last one — hey guys, wait for meeeeeee! So sweet.
I wonder what all these other animals would take pictures of and squee over if they could.
Happy Valentimes Day, everyone!
Right?! Not quite as squeee as scootin baby trunkster but pretty darn high.
That’s adorable.
The way they talk though, let’s just say it’s very bobcat-ish:
Happy Valentine’s Day!
I don’t know – it seemed like a mature discussion to me.
For mature audiences only? 😉
I’m pretty sure I’ve been on this date before.
Thanks for posting the lynxeseses, FKA! I just saw that video elsewhere and was going to send it to Mike. Love the snowshoe paws!
Wow. So I played this and all of my “house bobcats” freaked out. Clearly they understood the cat dialect.
I have no idea what they’re saying but I feel like I’m watching something by David Mamet.
Hahahahaha.
