Ping-pounce adds an exciting variation on the popular rec-room sport of ping-pong by introducing a random element, known as the pouncer, who earns whaps (points) by deflecting the serve. As in ping-pong, players attempt to score 21 points, but if the pouncer can score three whaps, both players lose and must give the pouncer tuna.
I know who I’m betting on, Sharon H.
I vote that the incorporate these rules for the Olympics this summer.
Assuming that is, that they happen.
This is the greatest game ever invented. Mike, you’re a genius.
Seconded.
Best picture and best new rule of a game, ever!
And speaking of tuna, this has had me laughing all weekend.
The ears look like a fennec fox…
I need to suggest this for the family ping-pong tournament next Christmas…
Kitty probably has mad limbo dancing skillz too.
Hmmm, the motel I’m staying at in SoCal has a ping pong table, but when we played there was a definite lack of a pouncer. Will have to speak to the manager.
