Although frequent submitterator Sharon H. sent this photo a few days before things got out of hand, this still looks like a wonderful pup to shelter in place with:
I adopted Lily, a toy fox terrier, last fall. It was a foster fail situation. Here she is, waiting patiently and watching me eat. Because I didn’t include a banana in the picture for scale, you can’t tell how little she is.
I have one banana left. It makes her look tiny. Like hamster-size.
🤣
She is positively adorable!
Lily is super cute!
Here is Bibi, keeping me company at “work”:

What beautiful fur! I’d love to run my fingers through it.
Thanks! It’s very silky. Bibi is okay with me brushing her, and happily, she is not prone to matting. She does shed, but not very much.
I house/bird sit for my parents last week, working from home before it was cool. I kinda miss having someone to tweet at.
Loving that face and those ears!!!! Looks like she can fly.
I’m late to the party, I see! I’m working from home this week. We’ve split into two teams that will alternate week to week going in. So I’ll be in the lab next week, then home again the week after.
Lily likes having me home! When she isn’t draped over my shoulders, she’s right next to my chair:
Oh my gosh Lily, you are too cute!
I have to say, I am a cat whisperer, always was. But I grew up with dogs, and LOVE my kitties, but I do miss the adoration of a doggy.
