Why a duck?
Why not? 😀
I checked out his Twitter. The duck is his pet.
Quite possibly the best links EVER, Mike, and just when I needed them the most. Yesterday was a rough one for me but my mood is infinitely better today (thank goodness). Was able to purchase (drum roll) both TP and eggs this morning. 👍
I will never get tired of watching the joy that is Kratu. 🤣
So much cute, THANK YOU!!! Love the sillyness of Kratu and the duck. And I love the new tag line at the top. I’m just glad this place will never close.
squeeeee for the otters!! The dog and otter are especially great!
Thank goodness for this staying open. Holy smokes.
These! These are the links I desperately needed! Thank you, NTMTOM!
I’ve only looked at reflections so far, but #5, the puppy sliding off the bed, is the best thing I’ve seen so far today. Also, the kitty yelling at his reflection further down, Bengal, I think, is so pretty.
Also, duck.
Also it is pouring rain right now and for some reason it’s kind of comforting.
Why a duck? Because we look totally ridiculous when we shake our tail feathers and we don’t care.
Mike, how are YOU feeling?
Feeling great, thank you! Washing my hands, wiping surfaces, hydrating, and staying home. Social distancing comes very easy to me because I do it all the time.
Yeah, I’m kind of a natural born social distancer myself. 😊
What a wonderful life you have, Mike!
When did life become the first fifteen minutes of Zombieland?
I really don’t want to start a cardio program, maybe i can just do double taps.
Fantastic links today. Love love love the duck. Could watch that over and over. Am taking mini breaks to look at all the links. Are we sure Chowder is real? That is one fluffy teddy bear. 😉
Outstanding links – where would we be without animals?
In other news, 65 million years ago today, shortly after 10 pm (GMT), a meteorite smashed into what is now the coast of Mexico and ended the reign of the dinosaurs…but our cute, furry little ancestors emerged from their burrows, said something like “What the hell was that noise?”, and embarked on a journey that would eventually lead to us. So if you’re feeling scared or despondent, just remember that you’re descended from the fluffy heroes and heroines who survived giant predators, flaming rocks from space and a years-long winter. The coronavirus may wreak havoc for a while but in the end it will be no match for the umpteen-times-great-grandchildren of Fuzzybum and Twitchywhiskers.
Speaking of space…some tips on isolation from Scott Kelly, who spent a year on the International Space Station. At least we don’t have to spend an entire day preparing to go outside for a few minutes.

It was great to read this, Alice (even if corona- anxiety hasn’t hit me yet, too busy atm)
As many of you have remarked already…just what I needed. So much cute. The reflection link was too much cute maybe?… NOT!!
Thank you very much Mike for this site (and for washing your hands before you post 😁).
It is my watchamacallit free day (not even one newscast!) so this was perfect.
I seriously want to turn Chowder over and see if there’s a Steiff tag on his hind quarter.
I had to start following him on IG because he is SO CUTE!!!
Saved the best for last, the cats being nice. OMG – That’s what we love about them so very much!
Taught my first online studio class tonight and it went much better than expected! The school got us Zoom accounts and turns out, you can log into the same meeting from as many of your own personal devices as you want! So I had the laptop in front of me, where I could see them, and then my phone on a tripod overhead so they could see my hands demonstrating. There is still some adjusting to be done, but thank goodness I’m not teaching ceramics! Poor kids would have to write papers for the rest of the semester. And worse, I’d have to grade them.
