Lots of cuddly animal friends, plus dogs on wheels, and a tiny baby mouse.
And finally: Three-Way Snorgling
That’s a triple threat, Andrew Y.

I wouldn’t mind a longer video of sweet Sasha getting a bath… 😉
Little Bean is too adorable.
Ummmm, yeah.
Mouse story is beyond adorable! Wouldn’t believe that such a teeny baby could survive, big round of applause to her rescuer. And all that snorgling between animals is so sweet. Doggies on skis!!!!! I think the dog washing video needs to have a disclaimer, hubba hubba for Sasha’s dad (is it getting warm in here or is it just me??) and puppy is very cute too.
It’s not just you. I would happily accept a hippo and a bath from him.
Morning all! I am at the car dealership waiting as my car gets serviced. Sasha’s Dad has great quads. I’ve got approximately 2 hours to kill.. so get ready for some more replies. By the sounds of it (I am sitting in the triage service entrance garage part and can hear all the service conversations.) I am getting off easy bill wise compared to a couple others here. This one particular service salesman has really pissed two woman off already. I am relieved I didn’t get him. It sounds like he is pushing upsales service too much. Hoping my car… uh oh here he comes.. yikes need new brake pads.
My car is due for service but since I’m hardly driving it I figure it can wait.
I had to get my snow tires off and put the all season on so I had little choice. Need new rotors and breakpads on front; break pads were at 3mm, new pads 10mm so I said yes to that but no to replacing engine filters just yet. Going to watch Sasha’s video again to lighten my mood.
Are you going out and about these days? I am not sure what I am supposed to do and not do!
Heya Dulcie! Hello and so glad you are doing well and safe. 🙂 Well no, not really. I am only going to the grocery store and outside in the neighbourhood for exercise. I emailed my Hyundai dealership the other week asking if and when they were opening up and if so could I get an appointment to swap my tires. I got an email back saying they were closed for two weeks but as an essential service they were reopening this past Saturday with major restrictions. I had already booked Easter Monday off long before this (?!) and was able to get an appointment this day off. No shuttles and they had chairs set up in the service bay several metres apart. The waiting area had a mom and her son in there so I stayed out. Everyone was wearing masks and social distanced– I came armed with mask, gloves and wipes. I had to do it on a day off as no shuttles etc so I came prepared, coffee, tablet and good humour to wait. It worked out so far… I used my stash of Lysol wipes on the interior before I handed the car over and they wiped it down before returning it to me but for good measure I wiped everything down, let it dry and drove away.
Really missed seeing my Dad this past weekend, original plans, but we are aiming for a beautiful warm day in the next month when maybe just maybe I can drive down and visit ‘in person’ a couple metres apart in his back yard. Won’t be for long but heck, every little bit counts. I gather we will be doing this through to August. My vacation flights for end of May have been cancelled and doubt I will even be able to visit Newfoundland this July. I was sulking and super stressed last week but sucking it up, ‘to do the time’ until *fingers crossed’ Fall. Hoping the peak does happen as predicted these next 3 weeks and then it flattens and continues to flatten. Hoping all this incredible concerted effort keeps majority safe and sound and somewhat sane.
Yes there are ways to do these things properly and a business like the garage is probably not a high risk place. Particularly if we keep doing things responsibility. You are right…every little bit counts when dealing with this virus!
That black doggie with his chick and bun is the absolute image of my Phred. Gave me quite the
start.
Little Bean the mousie has dedded me completely.
Ditto.
So the weather is terrible, it’s giving me a massive headache, but thanks to conflicting news reports I am afraid to take ibuprofen, which is the only thing I have. 🙁
You can take ibuprofen as you don’t have covid. My car is almost ready; they are going to wash it now. Best part, free car wash.
Good grief about ibuprofen, just something else to stress about. Thankfully, I can’t take NSAIDs long term, usually take Tylenol. Hope your headache gets better.
Can you give yourself a warm or cold compress (whichever works better for you) over eyes, or on forehead, or back of neck (also whichever works better for you)?
I do keep an ice pack in the freezer. I took two advil (the last two in my bag since I can’t find the bottle that is around here somewhere) with some Coke (which I keep around for medicinal purposes). Then I took a nap at lunchtime. Just got up. Little better.
I heard that was not accurate. Check it out. Pretty sure that that was a mis-speak?
I heard that, too. I just don’t know what to believe anymore.
The doggies on skis make me very happy. It snowed here all day yesterday and all day today. Hello, middle of April?!!!!!???!?!?
