Perfect soundtrack for the woodcock video:
Yessss, Alice Shortcake FTW! Those bebee Woodcocks killt me dead!
Exercise time = play time. Love the cat posts and can I be adopted by Justin or do a body switch with his dog. Those birds definitely have rhythm, that KC and the Sunshine Band song was made for this video. Good ear worm to have for a grey Mon morning.
Dinner with Justin Theroux and his dog made my day.
I love the animal meetups! The sea lion’s like “why is he sticking his tongue out at me?!”
The twitter conversation at the end of the post is very interesting.
Cats in tanks!

And from Japan,
The vote button won’t let me vote six million times for the bouncy baby birdies! Oh no!
The workouts remind me of when my late father was on the floor doing his therapy exercises and the cat was upset. He wondered what was wrong and I said she’s not used to seeing people on the floor. Especially not him. 😂
Those boidees doing the booty bop is adorable. I wonder what the mama boidee is trying to teach her bebehs. There must be a reason for boppin that way.
“This male American woodcock has some glide in his stride and some dip in his hip. Here he is performing an early morning “sky dance” to woo the woodcock ladies in springtime at Moosehorn National Wildlife Refuge in Maine.”
And also: “The American Woodcock probes the soil with its bill to search for earthworms, using its flexible bill tip to capture prey. The bird walks slowly and sometimes rocks its body back and forth, stepping heavily with its front foot. This action may make worms move around in the soil, increasing their detectability.”
Thanks for the enlightening info, Ricky….. With this daily, needed website we don’t just get the CUTE but also learn new things from one another.
Glad you enjoyed it, and I agree with you completely. I’ve learned lots of things here.

I LOVE BIRDS
SO DO I! 🙂
It’s official – birds are better dancers than me.
It’s a good thing we don’t have to have good dance moves to find a mate. Some people would possibly be without one, if that were the criteria.
Love the workout pets! Scorpius likes to stop in when I’m on the treadmill or the yoga mat, but I think he just wants me to get out of his room.
