Pets meet their match, dog walks girl to school, kitten wins over cat, and cute thumb-sucker.
And finally: There’s a Sucker Born Every Minute
Allein S. says “they can take away a pacifier, they can’t take away your thumb!”
Just a heads up – the guinea pig and border collie is currently linked to an also adorable Reddit post of a Corgi with its toe beans over its eyes. I was really hoping to see the Metro article; that one is perhaps my favorite of this post, with the sleeping kitten a close second.
Edit: The correct link is at:

Squee!!! Thanks for the correct link but this teeny Corg was totally worth it.
Assuming Mike will fix the link…
Black licorice is my fave. That sweet puppers just about killt me again. I’m experiencing a high mortality rate today.
Thanks, Robert. I love interspecies matchingks! And the border collies herd the guinea pig, of course.
I love Love and Hisses! I recognized Bunny and Clyde right away!
Self-pacifying kitten wrings my heart.
Me too! Been following L&H for 10 years now 😀 And I just cannot get over how beautiful little Clyde is. Is it his general roundness (is that a legit word?), or his wide-open, constantly amazed eyes? Whatever he does, he has this lovely atmosphere of a trustful, open-hearted toddler about him… ❤❤❤
Does he remind you of Stompers at all?
I miss the Itty Bitty Kitty Committee. Not that I blame Laurie for retiring from kitten rescue; she put in many years saving itty bitties.
I’m sure it also hurt to lose Charlene Butterbean, who was so good with the itty bitties.
Lil’ Stompers, you say? Hmmm… Methinks Stompers was more of a tongue-in-cheek, bold, ‘look at me, gimme your love RIGHT NAU, stomp, stomp, stomp’ kitten, while Clyde is so unbearably mellow…
And I miss the Committee, tooo. And dear Charlene…
Bunny and Clyde killed me. Thumbsucking kitten then brought me back to life by waving at me while sucking.
Love & Hisses is one of my favorite blogs. Right up there with Cutetropolis. Robyn does the “Fostering kittens” bit with a sense of humor in her posts.
I don’t remember sending thumbsucking kitten; must have been a while ago. But that is totally my quote because that was my philosophy as a child. (And my parents have the orthodontist bills to prove it.)
I wouldn’t have thought it possible for a kitten to suck their thumbs but I’m not unhappy to be proven wrong because that is just mind-blowingly adorable!
To this day I still miss my childhood Guinea Pigs.
