The Camel was a biplane. Based on the wing placement, color, teeth, and the red propeller spinner I think pup’s plane is a stylized approximation of the Supermarine Spitfire, which along with the Hawker Hurricane was the hero of the Battle of Britain.
It’s also the first hit if you google image search “prettiest ww2 plane.”
