Cutest Dam Beaver You Ever Saw

There’s an adorable baby beaver recently born at the Point Defiance Zoo, and he or she’s just the cutest, toothiest, squeakiest, smiley-est bundle of beaver joy.

Here’s the cuddly kit wasting no time in learning how to swim with mom and dad!

Heckin’ cute, Murray C.

Baby is adorable. Also, I had no idea adult beavers grew so large. I think I would be a tad afraid if I encountered one up close.

Not to mention that they apparently slept through the entire ‘kit-napping’!

Per Wikipedia, “[Beavers]are the second-largest rodent in the world (after the capybara).” Apparently after all the various species of capybara and beaver, the next few places go to various kinds of porcupine.

Wish this little one could meet Beatrice. I need to rewatch her video now.

    Hey! Yesterday was Canada Day!
    You know…beavers… Canada…? ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ ๐Ÿ˜
And sadly, there’s no beaver emoji.
Nobody gives a dam about beavers I guess ha ha.

No beaver emojis? That’s a serious criticism of human beings.

        Dam right.
Especially since there’s an eagle emoji.

Love both Mom and Dad encouraging him to come in the water and learn how to swim.

The squeaking reminded me of the scene in The Emperor’s New Groove where they were all learning to speak squirrel. “Squeak, squeakum, squeak, squeak – I have no acorns”. S/he is so adorable and fluffy!!
