Lily Watches the Birdies

Lucky reader Jan B. has a family of robins nesting just outside her door, and she just shared some photos, including one of her cat Lily, who is extremely interested in the new neighbors.

They’re growing like weeds and have nearly doubled in size in just one week!

MAMA! There’s a cat watching us!

Mama was obviously not impressed with my photography.

Hmmm…

Lily helps out by keeping close watch over them; she seems to always know when it’s feeding time!

I think Lily would like to redefine the word “birdfeeder”…

Probably! Although she may not know to do with one if she caught it!

She races to the window whenever she hears them squawking! Sometimes she even stands up on her hind paws for a better look!

It’s been great fun having them. I know I’ll miss them when they’re gone! I never realized how fast they grow!
