There’s an old adage: Write what you know. With that in mind, it’s clear that the author of The Lively Little Rabbit is not lively, nor little, nor a rabbit, because the title character is nothing more than a two-dimensional laundry list of shopworn clichés common to the storybook genre, hippity-hopping through a tedious series of disjointed episodes that fail to gain momentum. Awww… that Mini Rex reminds me of (my since departed) Angel, but she was gray and white. Their short fur is sooo soft. My buns would probably try tossing the book or chewing it, so much for story time.
Its a cow bunny!! Too stinking cute. Wonder how he’d rate my favorite Little Golden Book “Home for a Bunny”? It’s the suspenseful search for where is a bun bun’s best place to live. Sigh, such fond memories of childhood. rummages through boxes, thought I kept a copy around here somewhere
The reviewer is definitely an expert! LOL!
Shopworn cliches…🤣🤣
It takes one to know one! Authenticity is so rare these days.
I’d still go to storytime if a bun was reading.
Bunny knows best. What a handsome one!
Brilliant! 🙂
