Kangaroo escapes, red pandas rescued, cats fits when they sits, and magic tuna can.
And finally: Instant Cat
That must be a magic can, Arne.

All cats are instant–when they want to be!
Love Gen the corgi. He’s such a drama queen. Good on his people for taking such good care through all his health problems.
Kangaroos in Florida? Really?
That red panda had me swooning.
Yes those cops must be exhausted after hopping all over town! I always find those misplaced sentence structure gaffs hilarious. ๐
Gaaaaaahhhhhhh, baby red panda! Ded from the extreme, fluffy cute.
Can you imagine getting to FEED and CUDDLE him? Ded again.
That poor little kangaroo. What a frightening experience! I hope she (he?) is given a better, more appropriate home (although I kinda hope they can also see their doggy friend again). There is growing evidence that the illegal wildlife trade contributes to spread of illnesses such as viruses. So that part’s not cute. Nor is the selfishness of keeping an Australian animal as a pet in Florida. But the kangaroo certainly is cute, and although the leash around the neck made me cringe, the cops did seem to be doing their best.
The kangaroo story was on the news last night. There was a line about him creating a “small pocket of crime” but “the police hopped to it.” That’s when I decided it was time for bed. ๐
According to the article, the guy said he got him from someone else who was moving and “didn’t want” him anymore. Shouldn’t have gotten him in the first place.
The article also says “he has friends in Palm Beach County who are permitted to care for Jack so heโll be only a hop, skip, and a jump from home.” So it sounds like he’ll at least be going somewhere he’s allowed to be.
I read that cats like boxes because it reminds them of the physical pressure of their mother and litter mates when they were a kitten.
