It’s another Caturday in Cutetropolis, and reader N. Fritz shares one final look at this beautiful black cat for your viewing pleasure:
I’ve submitted Chiara before (Vanta black kitty) and this is probably the last time I’ll be able to photograph her. I’m moving to Vienna in a couple of weeks and she’ll no longer be my neighbor. On the plus side, I’ll be living full-time with Mutz, another Caturday Conversation Cat!
Gorgeous house panther! Vanta black indeed!
It’s bath time at Chez Lily where the chickadees indulge themselves in the birdbath on the back patio. The tousled look is very “in” now I understand!
Chiaroscuro indeed! And Vanna Black indeed! 😁
One of the fledglings born on my front porch has stuck around my yard and decided to get in on the bathing act!
Chiara is stunning. And good luck with the move, Vienna sounds like a grand place to live. Looking forward to more pictures of Mutz.
Jan you are so lucky to have all those lovely birdies visiting you. My only wildlife I have are spiders. There are spiders making webs everywhere and anywhere right now. If you brush one aside within 10 minutes another one has been spun. Welcome to my own version of Charlotte’s Web but without the pig. I have to step carefully when I move around the yard. Thank goodness I’m not bothered by spiders. I figure they keep the fly population under control.
Yes, difficult as it can be sometimes, having spiders around is a good thing, except when one is
found on the rim of one’s glass of water, staring back atcha.
Ooh. Yeah. I would not be comfortable with that! Probably put the glass out on the doorstep!
And hi Phredsmom! How are you doing?
Hi Phredsmom!
Nausea thanks to the cancer meds is making life unpleasant, but other than that,
things are ok here.
Oh dear Phredsmom. Nausea is so unpleasant. Hope the symptoms subside for you.
Thanks AJ, moving is pretty traumatic for me (I think this is my 14th move) but I have a plan and I’m looking forward to a new life and new opportunities.
New opportunities are great, it’s just getting there is the hard part. And I know what you mean about moving. I’ve done 4 cross country moves, and at least 4 or 5 in town moves. Just the logistics of getting everything sorted, packed and ready to go makes one’s head spin. Almost forgot, I also did at least two moves for my mom when we moved her from one retirement community to another. First was all the stuff she needed immediately and then when we cleared out the old apartment. I won’t even go into sorting through all the stuff we moved into TWO storage units, let’s just say there were 10 extra large garbage bags filled with fabric.
I can relate, esp. with the fabric. My mom must have thought she would live
forever for all her projects. Fortunately found a quilting guild that took most
of it.
Good luck with everything NFritz! New life and new opportunities – wonderful!
I am trying to apply the same attitude to my impending retirement years. Much harder than I thought it would be though!! It is harder when the finish line is less blurry than it used to be! I am trying to take the advice of an older friend from years ago…”Make the absolute best of every stage of life you are in. Don’t rush them or fight them. Live them!”
Lovely kitty. Good luck with the move, NFritz! Hope everyone is staying cool.
“It’s wicked hot out there… Don’t forget to water your moose!”
(Caption “borrowed” from FB post I saw it on.)
Thanks Allein! Austria is undergoing unseasonably cool weather (in the 50s/60s) but I imagine that next Saturday it’ll be unbearably hot and humid while we’re loading the truck!
Love sleek black cats with slanty emerald eyes! Bewitching!
Bad Mabel!
“Disguise you as a pug” bwaaahaaahaa! ❤️❤️❤️
I didn’t even catch that line until the second time I watched it. 😂
That guy is a genius! (Posting thru cell signal, my internet’s been out for the last 3 hours…😡)
He really is. I’ve seen maybe four or five of his videos and it’s amazing how he improvises a dramatic scene that incorporates the dogs’ activities and expressions into convincing story lines – and he’s hilarious.
Even I would watch football (American) if Andrew Cotter would do the play-by-play. And what he could do for baseball! Yowzer! No one would fall asleep.
Me either! 🤣
When Billy Joel finds an abandoned piano on the street…
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3K48a7CSsnQ
Who ever is is in charge of the camera phone needs to be strangled!
What, you don’t like to watch your impromptu piano concerts sideways?
I think whoever was filming didn’t want the piano player (Joel? Really?) to know he was being filmed. It’s hard to keep the camera oriented when you’re being surreptitious!
That’s the only thing I could think of!
🤣…NO!
My reply to Allein
CAT SHARKS!

What the heck?! 🤣
A very odd idea. Did the artist eat something that did not agree and caused nightmares?
Some of those shark-cats are oddly cute-ish!
Lots of good vids/photos today, peeps. Thanks!😊
