Dude, lighten up. You’ve done nothing but complain for this entire vacation. The hotel gave us complementary snacks, and you complained that our room was full of bugs! And now here we are, we have the Olympic-sized swimming pool all to ourselves, and you think it’s too small! There’s no pleasing you!

Good question. It doesn’t appear concerned about the proximity of the water. Maybe this is just an everyday way human and lizard chill?
People sometimes soak reptiles to help them shed their skin, but obviously that’s not going on here.
Also? Those bugs were delicious!
