I must be the loneliest cat in the world. Every morning, I come to this very spot and watch as dozens of people walk by — and not one of them will stop and sit with me. What is wrong with people today that nobody will sit with a lonely cat? Have we all become so dead inside that nobody can take the time to just enjoy the day and keep me company? Why won’t anybody sit with me?
I don’t want to be the one to tell him, Sharon H.
I’d sit with him. I don’t care what the sign says.
Actually, I’d sit on the step below him and if anyone said anything, I say that step doesn’t have a sign. Technicalities for the win.
Kitty does what kitty wants. Kitty does not abide by your “rules”.

I’m with you Allein. If you sit on the step above or below, there’s no sign so raspberries pbbbt. And if we get in trouble, then you can come sit over at my house.
Had sad news yesterday. Remember the kitty, Miss Robin that would invite herself her in to my house? She went missing about a month ago and her owner stopped by yesterday to tell me that unfortunately a coyote got her. Someone I guess found her collar and tag so he has that at least and he knows what happened. We’ve had several cats go missing in my neighborhood over the last few months and we all suspect what happened but never had any confirmation. Also, we’ve had a juvenile mountain lion sighting in the neighborhood too. That’s just a little too close for me. Don’t want to be out walking in the evening, turn the corner and YIKES!
So sorry about Miss Robin. I’m glad her hoomin knows what happened, and that they’re telling the neighbors. Hopefully people will keep their babies inside at least while the puma is in town.
Another scofflaw cat! They’re such rebels.
