Stella the leaf dog is back and zoomier than ever!
Fall is here and with it comes the return of Stella the leaf-leaping bundle of energy. We begin with Stella frantically digging for her lost toy, then abandoning the search for an attack of zoomies. Reunited with the toy at last, Stella plops down for a much-needed nap. (via Murray C.)
Stella sits patiently in the leaf pile as the camera operator engages in a different type of zooming.
The soundtrack is genius
The still on the first video… 😆
I too buried myself in huge piles of leaves growing up in Connecticut. The sound is unmistakable and the smell includes notes of dryness and metal. And if that isn’t enough the sunlight filters into the pile like gold and provides warmth. You can breathe and stay buried within as long as you wish. Stella knows what’s good as do her people.
Boy would I love to jump into a big pile of leaves like I did as a kid. But I’d probably break a few bones if I tried!
It’s a fabulous way to have your leaves chopped up for composting or mulching! Stella now has a compatriot – they have another yellow lab named Mabel who is being trained in the art of leaf diving and she’s coming along beautifully.
