Some election day stress relief. I was going through it last night…there’s funny stuff, calming stuff, interesting stuff, interactive stuff (including plants to water and a doggie you can pet) and cute stuff (I saw bunnies, too). Didn’t see any stoats, though. (No idea why it asks if you’re over 18 or what happens if you say no.)

It’s a little better, at the moment, thanks :). It’s worst when I haven’t been moving for a while…like, say, trying to get out of bed (emphasis on “trying”…), or up from the couch.
I debated if I should work from home today (my boss said I could switch a day) but yesterday and today are the two busiest days of the month and it’s just easier to do stuff from my larger monitor and full-size keyboard in the office. I’m supposed to WFH Thursday and Friday and I might switch tomorrow for Friday, but more because a friend asked if I wanted to meet him for dinner and it’s closer to work than home (but we don’t need to tell the boss that). Hopefully it’s not too cold for outdoor eating (high is mid-60s but by 6pm who knows…). Part of me wanted to say no because hiding in my house alone is safer but then I haven’t seen anyone in forever and we’ll be outside…but then maybe-what-if-omg-anxiety.
The waterfall was the only one that worked – but it worked.
I don’t get the giraffe one. Am I just a boomer?
Is that the little skit with the giraffe breaking up with her (was it a dog?) boyfriend? Yeah, that one was weird. I think it was just supposed to be a silly animated skit.
I have Election Day jitters for sure; will be checking on cutetropolis even more often than usual, for sure!

I have some good news! Swee’Pea is home and doing well. After taking the catheter out, he wasn’t doing anything except trying to hide in the corner of his kennel. The vet had said they didn’t want to release him until they were sure he was urinating okay. But when I called three hours later, she said he was scared she did think he’d do anything and it might be better to bring him home and watch him closely. It was the right decision. The second I got him home, he clambered into the litter box, though, he was so high on whatever they gave him, he kept falling asleep in the box. He used the box several more times over night and is now sitting next to me purring up a storm. Big sigh of relief. Thank you everyone for your well wish for Swee’Pea’s speedy recovery!
Glad Swee’Pea is feeling better. I’ve decided on a news blackout at my house until tomorrow morning. And that includes Facebook too. Fingers crossed that sanity rules the day.
