MAPLE!!!! [That’s the dog’s name] Her human is named AcousticTrench and they are an amazing musician. Usually they play guitar, sometimes the kalimba or harp. Maple will listen and then get a nice loving pet. YouTube has a whole bunch of videos and they’re all so sweet and wonderful.

Totally off topic, but…
Tara, your bird sweaters just arrived. The smaller one will not fit Duckie, but the larger one might. I have hung it inside her cage so that she can get used to it. I’m not sure how successful I will be in dressing her, as she is currently trying to glare holes in both it and me, but it made me soooo happy to receive them.
Thank you ever so much.

Oh yay! You’re so very welcome! 🙂 Whatever the outcome, I look forward to hearing about it, even if they both end up being chew-toys – or whatever birds do to destroy things. It was a fun project. 😀

I’m keeping the smaller one away from her. I’m going to hang it on our Christmas tree.
Goldie in the goldenrod! With a happy song!
do, dun, do, dooo…
The best version of that song is the one by Ghost.
Followed by this one.
.Purina would’ve paid Madison Avenue buckets of money for something this simple and joyful.

Pure wonderfulness
Perfect.
At first glance I thought this was a pan flute and the dog had been trained to blow into it!! I’ve never seen nor heard of this instrument!
