We have another update on the Great Pyrenees puppies from reader Andrea!
We had an unexpected warm spot this week melting the snow which meant it was a perfect time for the babies first field trip outside.
After a few minutes of confusion they seem to have gotten into the spirit of things. There was sproinging and bouncing and playing and leaf cronching. So much sproinging that it was actually hard to get good photos.
They wouldn’t stay still long enough! Overall this “outside” thing appears to have been a hit. Hopefully we can try it again after Thanksgiving.
In other news the babies have discovered the joys of petting and that they can bark simultaneously. With only two humans but six puppies and one very tired mama this means that there are always at least five dogs that believe that they are not currently getting enough ear rubs and they’re willing to bark until this situation changes.
I have two hands; I volunteer to provide extra ear rubs.
I have two hands too!!! Where does the line for doling out ear rubs and belly rubs and huffing puppy fluff start??? We can start a new game called Pass the Puppy and everyone gets a turn!
I don’t even know where to begin with all this adorableness. They gotten soooo big! I swore no more puppies but this group is making me waver and think oh, how bad can it be?? Courage, my dear AJ and step away from the puppies.
AJ, just remember, 8 pounds of floof now translates into 8 pounds of fur to clean up every year! And 130 pounds of floof on your foot!
Thanks Janie for that reality check. Definitely way more than I want to take on. I once had a 75 lb dog and even that ended up being too much to deal with.
Another reason I like Chihuahuas.
🤣
I’m a little late to the latest post, but I volunteer for ear rubs, belly rubs and general snorgling!
