Haven’t looked at all the links yet, and it’s only 8:30, but Mochi’s winged harness is the best thing I’ve seen so far today.
Well, that and 6 tiny sleeping sausage dogs.
Okay, will have to watch the other links later, but itβs a good thing I donβt go to work today becos I am a PUDDLE OF GOO after observing the baby daschunds sleeping!! My goodness they are so CUTE!!! I volunteer to cuddle all of them!
(There is no wiener dog emoji βΉοΈ)
There’s no official emoji, but there are apps with dachshund sticker sets.

Great links today, I’m so glad Mochi found a person that can give him the attention he deserve, if you don’t have time spend with pets you shouldn’t have them.
I love Polar the blind squirrel, I’m so glad she can now have squirrel friends, that man takes very good care of his little friends.
Oh and thanks a lot RICKY & BIBI’S MOM, I’ve had the Marmoset song stuck in my head for the past 2 days! Grrrr! LOL!
All part of the service, Georgiana! π
I have too, but that’s just a bonus! π
The doxie video is lethally cute, the toe beans, the the little pawsies, the wagging tail. Clunk, ded. Managed to pick myself up and then the other videos with Polar, and the bearded dragon that acts like a dog, double clunk. Iβm done for the day, maybe Iβll recover in time for tomorrow. That owl is too funny, βWhatcha doing, I was sleeping?!β Looks like me when I get woken up.
The (sausage) links today are wonderful. Those dreaming weiner dogs are lethally cute – especially the one with the furiously wagging tail. π€£ That’s a good boi dream!!
I know. That twitching tailio made me keel over plumb DED I tells ya.
Totally top-notch offerings today! The sweet little squirrel found someone to cuddle with, amazed that dragon waited for the treat, and the owl morphing is really impressive! Iβm glad the 2 little pups got adopted, also.π BUT…the wiener dogs still topped them all! (And no, I have NOT watched that video 17 times! Sheesh.)
So, 20?
Hush, you. Leave me aloneπ
The video of Polar, the blind white squirrel, and the human who takes care of her and how he does it, should be an annual Christmas movie on TV. When the human investigated the next morning after he provided 5 little homes for her to try, and found that another squirrel was in there snuggling with Polar, I cried out. Children should see this at Christmas.
It was a π§ πͺπ§ πͺπ§ πͺπ§ πͺ moment for me last night, that’s for sure.
At the very least it would make an amazing children’s book. Love the effort he went to with all of it, especially the christmas tree with squirrel treats.
Another man for our Men of Cutetropolis calendar. If I had skwerls like these, I would never stop petting their ear tufties.
Death by wiener dogs–it’s the only way to go.
I am in love with Ru the owl and am surprised that the hoomin has successfully kept it as a pet. As the HP moviemakers said over and over, owls don’t make good pets. They had to use several owls to play Hedwig, as each owl mastered just one task. They also CGIed most of the owls flying around the Great Hall.
(Spending my Christmas Eve holiday relistening to Half-Blood Prince. I’ve just relived Christmas at The Burrow–perhaps my fave of all the HP Christmases, with Jim Dale singing Celestina Warbeck’s songs.)
Later I will be listening to Neil Gaiman’s reading of A Christmas Carol (where he reads from Dickens’ own prompt copy that he used for readings…which is neither here nor there since doesn’t seem to be on video anywhere and I can’t see it, but it’s cool anyway).
I saw Patrick Stewart’s solo version on stage and it was fabulous. I guess this

is as close as one can get.
My favorite version is still Mr. Magoo’s. π
Gaiman’s was for the New York Public Library podcast (the NYPL has that copy of the book). I discovered it a few years ago and have listened to it while wrapping presents (and burning a fireplace-scented candle) every year since. I only have three presents to wrap this year but I will still listen.

Never seen Mr. Magoo version!
Might have to watch later…
I had the chance to see Patrick Stewart’s version and foolishly didn’t take it. Another great regret.
Will listen to Jim Dale’s reading, probably tomorrow. It is kinda hilarious to hear “Hagrid” show up in Dickens.
Magoo’s version is the one I grew up with! I watch at least once a year since it’s readily available on YouTube.
Me, too! With razzleberry dressing.
Love Mochi, Foxy Lady and Shorttail–and all their hoomins! People understanding animals, especially unusual ones, make me very happy. Mochi’s mad dashes around the room are fantastic. His winged harness is glorious.
Saving Polar video for later.
Moochi cracks me up. Love him sliding on the counter, because he’s a cool kid.
