Merry Christmas to one and all!! Lots of good feels with the links today, what a good way to start off the day. Because of everything, we’re having a low keyed Christmas. Our good friends are coming over and since the weather will be nice, I think we’ll all be outside to eat. Also, phone calls to all the family to wish them well and then call it a day.
Kinda funny thing happened yesterday. Was watching TV in the afternoon and heard loud, almost a rumble, noise on the roof. Couldn’t figure out what it was and then saw our inflatable Snoopy zamboni end up in the tree. Almost landed in our neighbors yard. Guess a big gust of wind hit it just right and off it went. Hubby ended up dragging it into the garage, we planned to take everything down shortly so figured no need to put it back up. And oh yeah, almost forgot, we won in one of the categories for our neighborhood holiday decoration contest. They left a note on our door the other day saying we won but not which category and were supposed to announce the winners yesterday but nothing’s been posted yet.
I’m savoring today’s links so have only watched the cat or cat + dog ones so far. I’m in heaven. So much sweetness! The tomcat brothers made me especially happy.
When you watch Cole and Marmalade, be sure to click on through to Every Cat at Christmas, https://youtu.be/rIn-kZiaVA8
It’s fantastic.
I also got into a zefrank chain last night that had me crying. His audible promo is worth watching, because it’s pets at Christmas: https://youtu.be/3PUlJpsbHSk
Then there’s pets in therapy, https://youtu.be/HxM8Eb_IoFY and https://youtu.be/PmdmGnohk6E
Happy Christmas to all who celebrate it!
I saw Ze Frank in the sidebar on youtube the other day and refrained because I knew I’d get sucked in. I guess it was inevitable…
Merry Christmas, everyone!
I didn’t know about zefrank – hilarious! Thanks for the link!
And I agree, the tomcat brothers were really touching.
Rainy Christmas day here, there is no snow and everything is grey and wet and depressing.
We are in lockdown so my husband just left to leave his mother her presents on the porch since he can’t even go in or he could get fined $1,546
I think this song is how we all feel and what we all hope for, that next year will be better.
Very apt, Georgiana. This was on TV Christmas Eve, so I watched it for the umpteenth time.
Here’s a little fun take on everyone’s favorite or least favorite Christmas pop song…
Merry Christmas, one and all.
Merry Christmas, Cutetropolitans!
For some reason the Dodo links aren’t showing correctly on my PC; will try later on my tablet.
After a flurry of activity this morning, the rest of our day should be relatively quiet- just my hubby and mom for Christmas dinner and gift exchange (masked except while eating, of course).
I have next week off (self-imposed mental health break), so I’m looking forward to some days where I don’t have to wear a mask for 8+ hours straight.
Merry Christmas, everyone!
Quietest Christmas ever.
Funny to think that I had longed for this kind of Christmas when I was working. As much as I loved the family gatherings and FOOD – the winter driving and preparation chaos was sometimes too much!!
Hopefully all Cute denizens are having a great day. Especially Santa Mike.
Take care all! 🎄🙏🥂
The puppy in the manger looks like a kangaroo. I love him.
Merry Christmas, everyone! Hope all your days were merry and bright.
P.S.
The caption on the Manger Puppy had me rollin’. Nice Christmas present, Mike!
It’s taken me until 1am the day after Christmas to even really look at all the nice comments everyone has posted. I hope you all had a reasonably Merry Christmas. We were to have a glass of bubbly with our neighbors in between our houses but the ground was sodden from melting snow and a gargantuan storm that came through during the night. It never happened – I think they weren’t feeling really great – lots of health issues. We usually have a lovely brunch with them on Christmas so a bit sad that things were so topsy turvy. Nice to know that tomorrow can be spent doing things that don’t involve Christmas for a change!
