Slowly, hesitantly, Theodora approached the sacrificial basket and the ravenous beast which lurked within. With trembling hand, she presented her offering, hoping that the creature would be pleased…

Bwaaa ha ha!!!! That nose! I wonder if it will allow boops or if a hand would become part of the sacrifice, lol.
Bunny-in-a-basket! I will gladly feed the beast, boop the nose and hug it and kiss it and call it mine.
I was thinking about you today Luv. Being Bunday and all. 💕
Oh thanks. I had over whelming sadness from 9:30 am – 1:00 pm. A week ago today, during that time period, was when we got the bad news about Leo and hopefully made the humane (but gut wretching decision) to have him put to sleep. Bundays maybe a little sad for me, for awhile. But I always love looking at bunnies.
The little muzzle-puffs!
You crack me up, Mike! Perfect story for the nibbly beast!😜
I must say the title made me a little apprehensive, the original The Wicker Man terrified me when I saw it as a child!
I’m just kidding I wasn’t apprehensive at all, actually I couldn’t wait to see what Mike had come up with this time.
You had me in the first part.
Creature definitely seemed pleased, judging by the eager snifflets. So very cute.
This is absolutely beautiful!
The soft, velvety noses that bunnies wear ever so well, always amaze me. How could one not spend the entire day booping it?! 🤯
Thank goodness the offering was accepted – there will be no need to sacrifice any rural policemen this year…
😀 You crack me up Alice. I hope your Dad is well. 🙂
I’m afraid he isn’t doing too well, either mentally or physically, but we are coping.
I am sorry to read that– sending lots of strength and calm.
Murray, have you been here yet? If so, how is your bunny Fergus doing? I hope he is doing lots better.
I love reading these and trying to figure out what’s going on before the scrolldown.
question though, what was the offering? Dried apple?
Looks like. The URL says “rabbit in basket takes apple” but the second piece looked soft and flexible so it must be dried.
On a side note, speakers up!
