I can see they’re not actually rockhopper penguins, but they were in fact hopping on rocks.

Reminds me of the old “Shift change” Warner Bros. cartoon, a friend I used to work with and I used to greet each other by “Good morning Ralf/Good morning George” every morning at work and nobody around us got the joke because it was a French work place.
