A photo safari and their guide had a special — and possibly dangerous — encounter with a very curious baby elephant who wanted to practice charging their vehicle. Although the baby was no threat, its protective mom could have done some damage. (via Murray C.)

Oh my goodness.
I’mma trample you! No, wait, mommy I’m hungry…
“Once you weigh six tons this will be substantially more terrifying.”
Love the bonus Snoozin’ Bebeh Trunkster.
(On a side note, I could listen to that guy talk all day.)
That guy has got to be the best guide!
Can I give this 100 thumbs up?! Good Glory, this is the best elephant video I’ve ever seen! I mean, for heaven’s sake, that little baby is adorbs!🥰 And I have never seen a baby nurse like that! Just such cool animals, knowing they weren’t in trouble, and letting us take them in. The baby “charging” the jeep was too funny! This made my day!😁
Thanks so much Murray C.!
Such a cool video and love the narrator’s voice. That bebah is too much and momma was so calm, maybe she’s used to all the photo safaris coming through.
That’s from the live safari streaming program Wild Earth, which used to be called Safari Live. You can watch two live safaris every day of the year: a morning safari, and one in the evening, out of South Africa. Here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pOU0UbvjvtY I’ve been watching that program since ≈2007. James Hendry was just the best.
The perfect end for a long week. What a wonderful video. 10 whole minutes of bebeh trunkster… what a treat! ❤️
Bebeh Trunkster charging too cute!!
I’ve had my mouth hanging open for more than 10 minutes, so I have to get a drink.
Just about died from the cuteness of those babies.
I was not expecting to see elephant boobs! Best heffalump p$rn ever!
And yes, I too could listen to that guy all day.
After a hellish week, I really needed a baby trunkster playing hide and seek.
Baby heffalump can come and kick dirt in my general direction whenever he likes, but I was slightly disturbed by the connection between milk consumption and road rage.
