Need a little help waking up early this morning? Perhaps this pair of leapfrogging lagomorphs will put a spring in your step.

It never ceases to amaze me that bunnehs are feisty. They are proverbially, well, scaredy cats.
I wish I had that much spring in my step, especially with the forwarding of our clocks. At our prior house, we used to have wild rabbits come in our yard and do the very same thing. I always enjoyed watching them and often they would stretch out and rest. Sometimes, a mother rabbit would come around with her babies.
Binkies!!! Cutie pies look like they’re having a good time. Even though I changed the clocks before bed and actually went to bed at my “usual” time (ie about an hour earlier), I’m still tired and semi-discombobulated. After all the discussion, I’m hoping the powers that be decide to stick with standard time and stop switching the clocks.
And people are amazed at this cos they think buns are sweet and docile—NOT! When a bun is agitated, like the aggressor here—anything can happen. I once saw two adults standing on their hind legs batting at each other with their paws—in my alley! They kept going to all fours then rising at a different place on their twos, fighting—all the way down the alley! Wish I had had my camera!
I totally forgot about changing the clocks. Most of mine change themselves, anyway, but not my clock radio. Oops.
Bunnies are still cute.
Aaaaaaand the accompanying ad is for COBS bakery hot cross buns.
Well, we’ll have take that ad to mean, the cuddly looking, cute, springing around buns in action. And not be referring to them for eating.
🤣🤣🤣
Okay, I’ll order a few those kind of Hot Cross Buns.
You are amazing Allein
Most of my household clocks are controlled by servers, but not all! Just changed the one in the bathroom; still have to do the battery wall clocks, the microwaves, and the ovens. Yes, I’m grousing about First World problems.
These bunbuns remind me that I haven’t re-read Watership Down in a long time. And that I haven’t seen the wildlings at work for ages. Of course, today they’d all be huddled in their burrows, waiting for the snow to melt. We hit the 70s earlier this week; now we’re buried again in Colorado’s snowpacalypse–which will melt by Wednesday.
Is anyone else hearing popcorn sound effects?
Do you mean for the bunnies, or for the snow plopping off overloaded branches all along my street? The snow plops keep scaring the cats.
My clock radio just has a little switch on the back that shifts it an hour forward or back, but I noticed when I switched it it was still almost an hour fast 👀. (The radio comes on in the morning but it’s not what tells me it’s time to get up, and I keep the display off so I don’t use it to tell time, either.) My tablet is the one with the “get up now” alarm and that adjusts automatically, as does my phone, computer and cable box, which are the things I’m most likely to look at for the time.
I do have to manually change the microwave, oven, and thermostat (which is the one I usually forget until I start noticing the heat isn’t coming on before I get up). I also have a light on a timer in my bedroom, but that’s been turned off since the power went out a few weeks ago and it forgot its settings (it has a battery backup but it needs special batteries and I keep forgetting to get replacements).
Folks, if you want to read/hear something lovely and uplifting today, see what Yo Yo Ma did after getting his second COVID jab. I’m actually in tears.

I remember when he did Going Home (also Mooing Home with Sandra Boynton). Love this! Thanks for sharing. 🙂
Direct link to some video on the location’s instagram..
Really lovely.
Oh I am definitely not doing the Bunny Hop when I get out of bed these days. Still trying to find the right side to get out on and have run out of sides.
Sometimes my bed is similar to yours, so I’m sending you a big hug!
Thanks for the hug! 💕 I’m hoping it is just a continuation of pandemic discombobulation. Warmer weather and longer daylight hours should help.
It feels like a good time for another group hug.
Hugs, everybody!
How could you not hug after seeing that pic?
:: hugs ::
You’re not kidding Kar!
Allein has so many treasures at her fingertips!
There’s nothing quite like the power of a group hug. 💕💕💕 We’re blessed on this site!!
March hares doing what March hares do. They don’t seem practically mad to me.
