I love Ricky Gervais and his cat. I saw that a few weeks ago but I saw a reference to it more recently and a comment that said his instagram is now “basically just his cat.” 😄
Meanwhile, I was at my parents’ last night and didn’t even see the cat. (Did see a cat outside on the deck, but Stars was hiding somewhere and never came out to say hi. Probably behind the bed next to the heater; I looked under it, but forgot to look behind it.)

That’s what I hear, too. I got my first jab yesterday (Moderna), and I feel a little muscle soreness around the area, but not enough to justify an ice-pack or an NSAID. No mobility issues in the arm. I must say I’m relieved to have the process under way. I’m still planning to continue all the recommended cautions; all the more as there is now a third surge/wave in Europe.
My parents had only minor side effects with both doses of moderna, if it’s any reassurance.
Sometimes muscle soreness around the injection site occurs when people are tensed up.
They had some soreness and my mom said my dad was tired later in the day, but she just felt “normal crappy” and he was fine the next day.

And ! …..wait for it …. I have my first vaccination appointment on Friday! YAY! Did you hear that people in New York were going to their appointments dressed to the nines is ball gowns and the like? I’d best get busy planning my wardrobe!
