I love the sweet little Potato that wants to greet everybody but with all the dognapping going on these days I would be worried to leave her outside all day without supervision.
Ponzu the golden and his kitten Ichimi are too cute for words and so are Sakura the otter and his cat Mochi.

The lions having fun in the snow is a happy sight. The baby pygmy slow loris is astonishingly cute – world class.

Now I want to move to Potato’s neighborhood! When people call for her and she’s in the house, she rings to go outside–that’s dedication. I would visit her every day.
Saw the lions yesterday and nearly died from the cute. They were so happy.
The goldie spat is hilarious. Boyfriend oblivious until girlfriend was ready to make up–yep, that’s a boyfriend for you.
Potato is a sweetie. Wish I could pet her. I love that people will wait in a socially-distanced line just to pet a neighbor dog.
Speaking of potatoes, my friend’s sister posted some pictures the other day of the new puppy they’re getting. At the time of the pictures (just this past weekend, I think) he was 2 weeks old, a Shar Pei/Beagle mix, and I am not convinced he’s not a cream-colored potato. Guess we’ll see; they won’t be taking him home for a while, obviously, but she brought her kids over to meet him (it was a surprise; her daughter, who is 21, cried). Maybe he’ll look more like a real dog by then.

Baby pygmy lory is cute condensed into a small portable package. Who would have thunk lions from Africa would love frolicking in snow? Looks like so much fun, reminds me of a bunch of kids let loose after being cooped up in the house for a few days. Cat and dog, otter and cat, inter-species snorgling at its best. I want to move to Potato’s neighborhood just to pet her everyday. But yeah, I would be concerned with someone taking the meet and greet too far, like her out of her yard. Hopefully, they have security cams.

It’s wild to see 400 pound apex predators made of muscle and knives galumphing around like cheerful rottweilers. Rationally, there really aren’t any social animals (as opposed to eusocial) that aren’t smart enough to enjoy a good frolic. But I don’t know, lions just seem so regal it’s incongruous nonetheless.
Potato is just such a fantastic name for that particular dog.
“400 pound apex predators made of muscle and knives” is such a great description of lions. You do not expect to see them gamboling about in the snow wheeeeing. That’s what makes it such a happy sight – a totally unexpected ray of light through grim reality.

Yes to everything you just said, BFB.

Ichimi and his Ponzu. There are no words.
I would like an otter to cuddle my ginger kitkats. That kitten didn’t seem to mind at all.
