The feline Mission Impossible video is proof positive that they’re just toying with us. This makes me think of the video of the cat sitting on the shore when a crocodile or alligator (can’t tell the difference) comes out of the water and comes up to the cat. The cat sits calmly in front of it and whaps it on the snout. The croc/alligator considers the situation briefly and then retreats back into the water.

Wow. I never saw this entire clip. Even more amazing. I’ve always wondered what the animal was thinking when attacked by something that would have made a snack for it. Thinking, hmmmm, there’s more to this creature than I understand.
This is why I call them crocagators. And why cats should in fact rule the world.

(Side note: Buster is the name of the potato that my friend’s sister is getting. They say he’s a puppy but she posted more pictures a few days ago and I’m still not convinced.)
