Someone really needs to stop chopping onions so early in the AM. Huge thank you to all the rescuers and people who give our furry or feathered friends a chance to live their best lives. The the bear and pug videos lightened up the mood. Never knew pugs could scream like that. All about over the top.

Pug has a novel strategy for avoiding nail-trimming: make them laugh so hard, the hoomins can’t actually trim the nails. That was fantastic.
Love the bear cubs.
Will save the touching linkies for later. I get my first vaccine jab in a few hours, people!

I think I’d let the vet trim the pug’s nails.

Or at least wear ear-plugs. My groomer usually does Bibi’s nails; a vet tech does it if she happens to need it while at the vet anyway. I did the same with Ricky. I used to trim Mookie’s and Mazzilli’s myself, though. For cats they were pretty reasonable about it—but then, I had them from 10 weeks old, while Ricky and Bibi were both adult rescues.

Pug might actually prefer it too! I always ham up my drama queen moments around family.
LOTS of Awwwww! today. Can anyone explain why the cockatoo doesn’t fly? Her joy in her, I guess, human mate’s company is SO touching.

According to an article in InspireMore, Fefe can fly. I guess they just didn’t show it in the video. She first went viral in 2017, so she has some cute staying power!
I love those bears!!! Saw them a few days ago, then they were on the news the other night. I love watching the babies trotting across the road. Something about the way their legs move. I think “jaunty” is the word for it.
I used to take Pablo to PetCo to get his nails trimmed. He was too squirmy when I tried to do it myself (he never made noise, though). I would just hold him upright, and because he was in midair he would hold still, so the groomer could easily clip them. Cost me ten bucks and was well worth it. Then we would get a mix of stuff from the treat bar so he wouldn’t be mad at me.

I knew I’d seen Fefe here before:
Definitely worth watching again … and again!
I’m now madly in love with Fefe. She’s also so generous to share her husband with that other woman.
