Lunch is tricky for me because I’m always of two minds about what to eat. Should I have a double decker sandwich or the twice-baked potatoes? Maybe I should just have both!

I’ve got an appointment for my first covid shot today. My company has a calendar people use to mark when they’re planning to be out of the office. I added a time block that just says “getting shot” because that’s the kind of person I am.

Seriously though, the vaccine can hit some people really hard.
A relative of an acquaintance said that he felt so tired and beat up after it that he spent almost two days in bed, too exhausted to do anything more strenuous than a trek to the bathroom. (The guy lives in a small apartment, not some 10,000+ sqft mansion where you could argue that walking around the house is a workout.)
I have heard that – and sometimes the effects aren’t felt until days after. But my Hubster just got his several days ago and so far not a problem. He has other issues but fortunately, so far, no horrible reaction to the vaccination. I get my 2nd April 11 and I’m hoping for the best. DRINK WATER!!!

My suggestion would be to pencil in at least ten hours of sleep afterwards. Knocked me out for a couple of days.
Then again that’s my body’s reaction to colds, flu, taxes. housecleaning..

Duckie’s cage door is open whenever I’m in the room. Just now, she popped out, flew around the room several times, and landed on my glasses, which were obviously on my face. I now have personal experience with a close up view of a budgie butt.
I love it, Duckie. I imagine that’s a pretty cute rear view.
