And so, eager to live a life of adventure, the Red Panda Brothers set out to become notorious highwayman deep in Hurrwood Forest. Unfortunately, because they had settled upon a poorly-traveled section of road, the pair rarely encountered any victims and spent their free time robbing each other.
They’ve stolen my heart, CD.
Treacle syrupy sweetness these two!!
I want to snuggle them up in a big hug. 💕
BTW peeps…I got my shot this morning! Halfway there!!
I get mine after work!
These two can rob me any time.
Great!
Meant as a response to Dulcie
Anyone else just want to sit between the two of them and stroke that fur? I wonder what those tails feel like.
GAH, red pandas! So fluffy!!
I’ve developed “Moderna arm” as of yesterday; a big spotchy rash where the injection was, 9 days after the shot. At least it doesn’t itch or burn but looks a bit worse today. CDC says it’s nothing to worry about since it didn’t happen immediately. But, at first I thought “what did I get into? Poison ivy?”. Never would have thought a symptom could develop so many days later. Hopefully the second shot won’t be worse, but still better than getting covid.
Oh wow. Dana. Everyone has such different experiences. Hopefully that clears up for you.
I just looked that up the other day because someone else mentioned getting it. It’s called a delayed hypersensitivity reaction or something like that.
Gee. Sensitivity that’s delayed. I wonder why the call it “Delayed Hypersensitivity”? 🤔
I had the Pfizer vaccine. With the 2nd one, my only reaction was a hard hot lump on my arm for about 5 days. I got the injection on April 1 and I can still feel a slight lump in the injection site, but at least it is no longer red or hot to the touch. Some of my employees had no issues at all and others were sick with chills, aches & pains for a day. It’s weird how everyone is having different reactions/experiences with the vaccines.
Congrats to everybody on shots. Dana, hope your arm feels better quickly.
I really want to snorgle those bellehs. The floof!
Read that when red pandas feel threatened they stand up and extend their claws. I guess the idea is to unleash near lethal levels of cuteness, leaving the foe on the floor begging to rub their bellies.
That’s certainly working on me!
If they’re supposed to be looking BIG and FURROCIOUS, they bombed!!! They’re just begging for snuggles instead. 🙂 LOVE their beautiful HUGE puffy tails. They look SOOOO thick. Also wonder what they feel like……………… Those paws would make the cutest pawprints EVER!! Where’s my ink pad!!
What if you got to cuddle a red panda while getting your COVID shot?
Hubby gets his first next Monday.
I think you’ve hit on the solution to vaccine hesitancy.
I could use a therapy animal right now. Got my shot at 5:45 and it is now 6:12 but I wasn’t ready to leave and drive. 😬
Oh no Allein!! Please don’t get any worse!!
Take care 💕💕
It’s 6:49. I hope you’re on your way home.
I left about 6:15 (half hour after my shot). A little anxious in the car but I’m home and doing fine. 💗
Good! Take care of yourself tonight.
Don’t be afraid to take Tylenol and sleep tomorrow away.
I have to work tomorrow but I’m working from home at least. Though if I do feel bad enough I can take sick time. My arm is starting to hurt a bit…
suggest some tylenol and going to bed early.
Feel better!
“As I was a goin’ over the far famed Kerry mountains
I met with captain Farrell and his money he was counting
I first produced my pistol and I then produced my rapier
Saying “Stand and deliver” for he were a bold deceiver
Mush-a ring dumb-a do dumb-a da
Wack fall the daddy-o, wack fall the daddy-o
There’s whiskey in the jar”
Real talk: horned god’s favor to all you suffering side effects from the vaccine.
I have my second pfizer shot scheduled this Friday. The first shot gave me no side effects distinguishable from the hangover I would have felt anyway. But I find myself anxious, days ahead of the event, just because of how eager I am to stop worrying about this stupid virus.
Ha! I was singing this version all day yesterday.
My arm hurts this morning, but other than that I feel fine so far. The only redness is from the adhesive on the band-aid, which I didn’t take off until I was going to bed.
