Who knew that wombats could swim? Some lucky folks caught a glimpse of this amphibious battle tank waddling ashore and having a good shake.

Wiggly watery wombat
I never thought about wombats swimming. Would think they’d just sink to the bottom, those furry little love tanks.
How are our recently vaccinated fellow Cutetropolitans? Allein? Dulcie?
Arm hurts; it’s worst when I try to reach for something (my night stand is on my left, but when I woke up this morning it was easier to twist and reach for my water glass with my right hand). I’m trying to move it around a bit, though.
I’m a little tired right now but that might be unrelated because I do need to eat some lunch.
Bibi sez: Always eat lunch. Always take a nap.
Amy sez: Try ice on the armโ20 mins on, take a break, repeat.
Bibi is wise. Unfortunately I don’t have time to take a nap. I just ate a pile of peppers and cucumbers and drank half of a (pint) glass of water. Feel a little more awake. Made some mac & cheese but it just came out of the oven so I was letting it cool a bit.
Whatever works, friend. Whatever works.

I’m good! So far! Not even a sore arm. Lucky I think!
Very lucky!
Oh don’t I know it. My sup got hit really hard. Headache, nausea, fever, trots, aching…I feel so bad for her!!
Congrats to the recently vaccinated! Hope you’re feeling better soon, Allein. Glad you escaped without any reaction, Dulcie.
And I still love this wet wombat.
