But it’s okay, no really. You’re a big dog and you need more space. It’s only fair. I’ll just squeeze in back here. It’s fine. I can still breathe a little and mostly feel my legs, so I’m good. No, really.

I think the word for the spaniel’s expression is “long-suffering.”
I can just hear the big sigh from that little pup.
Poor puppers, I know exactly how s/he feels. When we went camping as a kid, I always was on the inside of the bunk and big bro usually sprawled out so I was squished into the corner. Come over to my house, I have several sofas, dog beds, etc. that you can claim all for yourself. Right now, Pebbles and Bam Bam are having a reciprocal cleaning/grooming session going on. I’m waiting to see how long it takes before it turns into a kitty scrum with hissing and batting at each other.
It is funny how much our anipals tolerate being squished and sat upon just to sleep in a cuddle!
Update on Pebbles and Bam Bam, after the cleaning session they are asleep snuggled up to each other on the same bed. So sweet, so cute.
Cuddle puddles are the best.
Such sweet pups. They look like old friends, snuggled in for a nice nap.
At least the spaniel has a comfy pillow.
