Cats may be (in)famous for knocking objects from high places, but for ambition, variety and sheer energy, this cocky little cockatiel knocks them all from the top spot. From pens and paper to giant water bottles, if it’s on the counter, it’s going down.

Clearly, birdie believes in the organizing philosophy of “keep all flat surfaces clear.”
Except the floor…
I’d love to know what the birb is thinking.
BTW Dubra – I am in Canada.
I should clarify that there are some populations deemed more vulnerable that have received the vaccine on the first roll out. As well as a timely second shot. It varies from province to province how the roll out unfolds but generally speaking the majority of us don’t have a second shot date.
A longer period between shots worked out well in Britain.
The giant water bottle was really impressive.
I would never survive this bird. Every horizontal surface in my house gets covered in crap. (It’s why I no longer have a dining room table.)
Am I the only person who misread “pens” above?
What is a dining room table?
Duckie is very good at throwing things out of her food dish. Even if she will eat the item in question from my hand (carrots, graham crackers), if I put it in her dish, it flies out, assisted by her tiny yet powerful beak. I had a sample of bird nutrition pellets, fruit flavoured, which I mixed in with her seeds once. She rooted through the dish, picked out every pellet, and dumped them on her poop.
So Duckie doesn’t just get rid of things – she makes pointed remarks about them.
Oh yeah.
She’s lucky she’s cute.
I haven’t stopped giggling at this all day. Little Duckie is just a HOOT!
🤣🤣😜😂
This was for DebG misreading words…
I’m tempted to Google a writing implement bearing that dubious description, but I’m afraid of what I’d find. I’m not even going to look for an emoji.
Since the start of the pandemic we started buying multiples of things so my dining room table is buried under bags of chips and popcorn and other miscellaneous items for which I don’t have room in my cupboards.
This is obviously a cat in a birds costume.
LOL
First today we had a bird who though he was Micheal Jackson and dance the moonwalk and now we have a bird who think he’s a cat and pushes things off tables.
What else can this day bring? I don’t know but I can’t wait to find out!
Very determined boird. Glad he’s not at my house, he’d have a field day between my desk/dining room table, the counters, the hutch, etc.
That bird would be unable to live in my house—he’d be too busy!
And the look on his face! 😂
On you tube there were several comments about cats in disguise!
I think we need a new category: Cute But Evil.
Good idea.
