Thanks everyone for the good wishes and hugs for Bam Bam and his dad. Both are doing better this morning. It’s just kinda of odd to see Bam Bam walking around with his tail permanently lowered. I think the nerves may have died because he doesn’t seem to be in as much pain and he’s been out and about a lot more. Getting lots of love from dad always helps. I’ll keep everyone posted.
Glad to hear Bam Bam and dad are doing better and continue to heal quickly.

My long-gone Gaufie, a big black cat, came to me as a tiny kitten with a broken tail. There were two kinks at the tip, which is obviously a better place for a break than right at the base. He never had much feeling in that area: I could dunk the tip into the bathtub and he wouldn’t even notice.
Bunny kisses are often rare treasures to be enjoyed. Not all bun buns are kissers. I always enjoyed the kisses until my bun bun was ready to stop. One of mine would sometimes dribble (also precious) just a little, when I held her,

My current bun will lick everything BUT me.☹️ I have always enjoyed bunny kisses. My first rabbit would give them indiscriminately and vigorously, just like Murry’s bun does. So cute, and thanks Murray!
I know what you mean. Some of my buns would kiss the couch pillows, blankets, carpet, my slippers and various animal statues I’d have around the house.
My cats will drool when they get really happy. Even Scorpius dribbled this past week! This was quite an occasion for us.

What a sweet, sweet bun. I always wonder when animals “groom” us, do they think they’re helping take care of a wound? I mean they’re licking away at what for them would be an area associated with a wound – no fur, or very very little!
My cats are washing me. They always wonder why I have no hair, but clearly (cat logic) the dirt on my skin needs to go into their mouths ASAP.

I’m so happy you’ve enjoyed seeing me taking a licking – and it continues as long as I scratch his butt. Though sometimes he’ll lick something else close by with equal fervor!😝 Fergus is in fine fettle these days, though has decided he can pee pretty much any and everywhere – not much fun for Mom. But small potatoes in the big mix of issues to have. He’s become quite the little love bug since losing his Clementine and since his most recent serious health issues. We’ve bonded much more closely and it’s delightful.
I missed the info about BamBam – haven’t been able to spend too much time last few days online – I’ll have to take a look at Open Thread to check it out.

I’ve been licked by Duckie, but just once. I will treasure that forever. I can’t imagine what getting a licking like that would be like.
Just realized how spoiled Duckie is. I phoned the lady one floor above me so my budgie could talk to hers.
Okay, I’ve heard of playdates between dogs but not phone calls between boids. That has to interesting. Have the boids met?
Yes, she’s the lady Duckie stayed with while I was dealing with breathing crisis. She was there for five months, and the boy boid DEFINITELY likes her.
We held the phones to the cages and the feathered brats shrieked at each other for a minute.
