It’s another Caturday in Cutetropolis, and here is Ladybug trying to wake up after a hard work week. “Ladybug is still WFH (work from home),” explains sender-inner Julie W.

Cute and handy! Good work, Ladybug!
I wish I was those notes. Ladybug looks so soft and warm
It’s been a very stressful week for me, my 13 year old cat Mimi stoped eating, at first I thought it was a hairball because she does that, stops eating for a day and goes back to normal once she passes the hairball.
But when she still wouldn’t eat the third day I got really worried and called the vet, she said she could see her the next day, I spent that last day crying because I was sure she wouldn’t come back, that it was something terminal.
Turns out she had a fever that the vet said was from an infection, she got 2 injections, one a long lasting antibiotic and one for the fever, also some pills. She’s not out of the woods yet, the fever is under control with the pills but she is still weak and doesn’t have a lot of energy but at least she is eating.
Between the husband’s and the cat’s health problems I don’t know how much more stress I can take before I get sick too. Well I’m keeping my fingers crossed ….
That sounds like torture, but things seem to be improving. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you and Mimi
I can’t put it any better than this ^. Fingers, toes, and paws all crossed.
Yes Georgiana, what R and B’s mom said!
Sorry you are going through such tough times. 💕
Hugs to you and Mimi. Hopefully she’ll be back to her usual self before long.
I”m glad that Mimi is doing better and is now eating.
Definitely need some self-care there. Please take care of yourself too, not just those around you.
Happy Caturday! Ladybug is adorable and very helpful protecting those important notes.
Hope Mimi feels better soon, Georgiana.
Stressful week, here, too between work and back issues. I woke up at 5 am yesterday and my lower back hurt so much I could barely get out of bed. It got better through the day but my leg hurt more. Driving home I had to stop and stretch it (and I was only a mile and a half from home but I couldn’t take it anymore). But after 5 doses of pain meds (500 mg naproxen, twice a day) and 3 of muscle relaxers (at bedtime) I woke up this morning mostly painless. So we’ll see how the day goes. I also did the exercises again yesterday and was able to do all of them (the first time I couldn’t do two of them because it hurt too much). I’m supposed to take the pain pills for two weeks and the other as needed.
Just saw this from UPS Dogs …turn the sound up!
Wow! The goats are happy just for the petting!
Sounds like your injury is improving – that’s great.
Glad that a good night’s sleep helped.
Keep up with the exercises but take it easy this weekend and do some self-pampering
Allein! Pain free this morning yay!
Maybe you want to do like Ladybug – lay down on your stomach and stretch one arm out – and hold – and fall asleep! Not sure you will look as cute cuz she’s pretty sweet!
I am definitely not that cute.
One of the stretches is similar to the cobra pose in yoga; lie on stomach with elbows under you and just let your back stretch and relax (you’re holding yourself up with your arms, not arching with your back muscles). Don’t know if I can fall asleep like that, but it feels good.
Happy Caturday and Juneteenth, everybody!
Ladybug looks so perfectly content—lovely girl! Cats definitely know how to relax.
It’s good to hear about people and kitties healing after rough times. Sending good thoughts for continued healing.
I’m still out of town, trying to stay cool with all my routines disrupted and 2 hours out of my usual time zone. Fortunately, I get to go home on Monday. Woe is me! Life is so hard! Seriously looking forward to the reunion with kitties.
Ladybug, could I borrow you for a bit? I’ve had a quiet but anxious week, and I could use some of your calm.
Waiting to hear back from so many places/people.
Duckie has been invited to a play date this weekend! The lady upstairs has gone away for a week, and so the lady downstairs suggested she bring her budgies to stay at her place. So now downstairs has four budgies for the week, and she suggested I bring Duckie by for a bit, just for fun.
Second COVID shot on Tuesday.
Have a relaxing weekend, all.
Five budgies sounds like a lot of fun. I’m guessing hijinks will ensue.
Late to the party today. And I’m channeling kitty today. Been sleepy most of the day. Up early and joined up with our car club for a cruise. Went to a nut farm that was having a dog show and then to one member’s house for a bbq. Hung out all afternoon with everyone and then went for gelato, and home. Long day but was fun. The dog show was kinda cool and I saw lots of interesting breeds – corgis, Saluki or Afghan, the dog breed that was in Turner & Hooch (Dogue de Bouvier???), and several others I couldn’t remember the names of.
