I would have dearly liked to see the face of the security person who spotted the cat in the luggage LOL!!
I’m not surprised by the Canada goose watching her mate’s operation, they are very loyal. She must have understood that they were helping him otherwise she would have tried to attacked them, they can be very agressive.
Candy the self-packing cat is adorable! I’m glad everything worked out for her, and kudos to the airport personnel who helped.
Running of the goats–OMG. I lived next to Riverside Park, just south of their grazing area, back in the 90s. I would have loved this event. And their emphasis on ranked choice voting that works, bwahahahaha.
Love the guinea pigs.
Must save other linkies for later. Happy Friday, everyone.
I am sorry to say I missed the Running of the Goats. I had hoped to see it, but it was held at the same time as a weekly online get-together with friends, and on a VERY hot day. Maybe next year …

Poor stowaway kitty and thank you to the airport security for getting her back home. Surfing cat is in my city! May have to see if I can get a personal meet n greet with the star. Can’t believe how patient the goose was while here partner was in hospital, usually they can be pretty nasty. Such a sweet story with Mama Shadow and her kittens. Glad she now is an inside cat with staff to dote on her every need.
The goose couple is SO adorable. Mama Shadow is gorgeous.

What people are calling “lightning bolts” (that suggests cats are meowing) reads sound waves or radio waves to me. One reason might be that, as an oldie, those bolts were used to announce important bulletins coming from radio towers or something like that! Now the memory is getting fuzzy I’m that old lol.

We don’t have goats but we have sheep in our parcs here in Montreal. https://www.mtlblog.com/montreal/parc-maisonneuve-will-have-sheep-hanging-out-all-summer-long

Lady and the Tramp, they are not.
Can I rank all the goats at #1?
Someone needs to let the cat out of the bag:
Miranda is hysterical!!! When I had cats I had nightmares about accidentally packing them or having one get in my work bag.
That is FANTASTIC.

Also, I think the cat gets credit for packing herself. Her hoomins weren’t at fault.

The lightning bolts indicate angry/scared sounds. They use curling white lines for happy sounds.
Definite radio waves. If you look at illustrations from the radio era you cant avoid seeing them standing in for radio waves.
Finally got to meet the Canada geese (so very wonderful), Maverick the surfer cat, and Shadow and her kittens. Wowzer!
Maverick’s people really know how to keep a Bengal happy.
Shadow reminds me so much of Scorpius–“I will hate the petpets. I will hate them. Please can I have more?”
