Kitten looks well-behaved, so it can go to school. I’m totally convinced by those big eyes!
FYI, the adult male void in my yard actually played with me last night! He was really into the wand toy and I came within an inch of petting him while he ate. He’s never been so open to interaction with me.
I know this has to make you happy. Slow but steady may get you the results of petting the feral cat(s). Having a toy is another good way to perhaps gain trust.
If I could have taken my dog when going to elementary and middle school, I may have liked it better, school, I mean. Then again, I had a poodle and many who saw me with her, made fun of my loving, precious dog.
Nobody should make fun of another person’s loving dog 😡 I personally love poodles they are very intelligent dogs but I don’t like the “classic poodle cuts” I prefer a puppy cut, that’s what my mother-in-law always asked the groomer to give her poodle Frou-frou.
I didn’t want the “classic” cut either, so my dad gave my Fifi the puppy cut also. Since I was kind of shy and a loner, as a child, my dog was my very good friend and to have others tease me about her, really hurt, which often made me teary, which then led to more teasing. Some of the kids who teased me grew up okay and some ended up as older trouble makers.
Remember the captions in some High School yearbooks-
Most Likely to:? For those nasty brats who mocked you and your dog there should have been this option: “Most Likely to Do Hard Time”
Gah! Making fun of someone’s dog? I can’t really imagine it. What is the thought process? What do these children turn into as they grow up? I guess some of them are OK.
This is obviously a therapy animal, and is by law permitted in schools and anywhere else.
And if you don’t allow it, yer gonna need therapy.
