Bailey the golden retriever meets some new friends in this video: four baby bunnies in a basket, bursting with curiosity. And when they get outside the basket to explore the big bed, Bailey is the best bunny bodyguard.

Bailey’s joyous interest in the baby bunnies is wonderful to watch
Doggos. Always with the butt sniffing!!😂
So sweet—and just what the doctor ordered!
Oh my head is exploding from the cuteness of the bebeh bun buns. I’ll put them back in the basket and quietly carry them out to my car, not bunnapping, just relocating. May have to take Bailey with me, so she/he won’t tell.
Oh good grief, this much cuteness in the morning should be illegal. I’ve heard of Goldilocks and the Three Bears but never of a Goldie and the Four Bunnies. At first Bailey is like uhhh what do i do with these things. And then there’s interspecies snorgling!!! Thank goodness it’s Sunday as I’m done for the day.
Is it just me or are the baby bunnies a little bigger by the end of the video? 2 video mashed together maybe or is it an optical illusion? Not that it changes anything on the cuteness department.
Well, there goes my Sunday…
Bunny huffing!
Bunnies in the basket: “Wow, it’s really humid in here!” 😀
🤣
When Baily licked the cookies’n’cream bunlet, my heart nearly stopped from the cuteness!
Mike, can we get an update on your health? And on Teddy and Vera? I’ve been wondering about you all.
Maybe good news: I’m 90% certain somebody has used the Litter Robot. Finally. We’ve only got 3 more weeks before I can send it back.
Awkward news: Cloud is pregnant again. I waited too long to try and catch her. Hadn’t seen her for a few days, or maybe a week; when I caught sight of her this morning, it was easy to see why. She’s now too big to get over the fence easily. I will get over to the Humane Society next weekend for some help handling this situation.
Better news: The two identical black kittens love to play with the wand. Tippy and Cloudburst are interested but haven’t worked up the nerve to take a swing yet. Everybody has gotten more comfortable hanging out with me in the evening after dinner–they just lounge around, waiting for me to swing the wand. They will go to the Humane Society as soon as I can catch them so they can find furever homes.
Debg, thank you for the linkie yesterday!
I’m afraid of the same in the case of Maszat as well. I don’t think she is pregnant now but it is just a matter of time… I don’t think I can tame her any time soon to be able to get her to the vet, although there is some very slow progress. She is the one that would be absolutely happier as an inside cat, I just cannot explain it to her.
Can you capture her in a Havaheart trap to go to the vet? That’s what I’m planning for Cloud, if the Humane Society will take her while she’s preggers. If she’s still unwilling to turn in her feral card after she’s weaned the next batch and gotten spayed, I’ll bring her back here and she can live in the yard.
Maszat might also change her mind if she’s caged, even for a day, and petted. In my experience, petting changes the whole equation, even for adult cats. Watch the TinyKittens channel on YouTube for Shelly’s magic–on intake, she has this wonderful way of acclimating the wildest ferals to her touch so she can do a quick health inspection.
Hello, Debg! Sorry for the lateness of the reply, I kept meaning to get to it sooner but I kept getting distracted. My health is completely back to normal, without even a trace of the dizzy sensation. For several days after the incident, I could walk in a mostly straight line, but I could feel myself drifting and correcting. Now that’s over and I just feel normal. Teddy and Vera are doing very well, and I really ought to take some new pictures of them soon.
