I saw the cat story on the news last night and even tho I’m ecstatic that kitty is safe, I am very curious as to how it got itself in this predicament in the first place.
Hooray for twin baby elephant!!
The dog would be the only reason I would watch cricket, of all the sports it’s the one I understand the least.
I would totally watch cricket if there were dogs involved.
Saw the stadium kitty last night; poor baby must have been so scared – after hanging on for dear life and then falling, only to have some guy hold him up right above the railing. I was afraid kitty would fight to get away and end up falling again.

No kicks, please, he did provide a soft landing for kitty!
But some gentle education by feline-wise family and friends would be good.
I feel like maybe he just wanted to show the crowd that the cat was okay, but I know too well how easily a cat can squirm out of your grip. The people with the flag to help break his fall were smart, too.

Sorry Diane. I wouldn’t ever literally do it, or encourage anyone else to do it, just expressing what I FELT like doing!

At moments like that, I substitute a clue-by-four (metaphorical blinding flash of enlightenment) for the two-by-four my lizard brain wants to bash over someone’s head. It goes over much better in the office.

Cricket goggie is so fantastic. I will never understand that game, but clearly the dog does. Get the ball. Run with the ball. Nothing else matters.
Have to save everything else for later.

I also saw the kitty video earlier. Poor thing!! Must have been scared to death.
Doggie probably thought that ball was thrown for him. π

Finally, an animal on the field video has the animal getting the ball.
