The rescuers of Ocean Conservation Namibia know that it takes teamwork to chase down and assist seals who get tangled in fishing lines — but sometimes the seals have a buddy system of their own. In this video, the rescuers help a seal caught in some cloth, scattering all the other seals but one, who thinks the whole thing is very interesting, and maybe he could join the team? (via Tara O.)
And this isn’t the first time, either. During another rescue, another baby seal decided he wasn’t about to let his friend get caught without giving the team a piece of his mind.
Aw, poor baby with a hook in his mouth! He looked like he was saying a quick thank you before heading back to his friends.
Those people are angels. The seals seem pretty grateful for their help.
