Such cool links to start the weekend! Animal comedy photos provided lots of laughs and this one I thinks symbolizes how most of us feel at the end of a long week
Also, we’re heading out to a car show this weekend and hubby’s car made the news story! That’s our friend Vicky being interviewed. It’s about 5 minutes and hubby’s car is the blue convertible in the middle.

I watched the clip. You’ve mentioned that you and your husband belong to a car club but I didn’t (or maybe don’t) understand what that means. Now at least I understand it has to do with what they look like! I don’t drive and I’ve never owned a car so it goes over my head.
I have a friend who’s rich and likes, or maybe loves, cars and owns I think seven. He owns Rolls Royces and other cars that are expensive that way. When he shows me a new one I feel like I’m not expressing enough or the right kind of enthusiasm.
Loved the cats in weird places, and of course little kitten Mezo! I’m spacing out the other links throughout the day for much-needed laughs.
My dad died this morning–a blessed release. It will be a weird day of waiting for immediate family to make arrangements, then let me know so I can book flights.

So sorry to hear about your father. Hugs to you. I felt the same way after my dad passed, he had had Alzheimers/dementia for the last few years. Just try to remember your dad as he was when he was younger and healthier.

Oh dear DebG. Always a tough thing regardless of the blessed release. Hugs and hearts. 💕
I’m so sorry, Debg. Let me send you the very first purrs from Maszat!

I’m sorry. It’s still a blow. I hope the service/events surrounding his death go well.

Sorry for your lost but I understand the feeling, my mother had 5 strokes and by the end it was a relief for her to go, she had no quality of life.

My condolences, DebG. My dad’s death was a blessed release, too. I’m sure you know that we’ll all be thinking about you as you travel for his funeral/memorial service. Take care of yourself, too!
Sorry to hear that, DebG. My dad’s physical and mental health has deteriorated rapidly over the past few weeks and I’m beginning to wonder if he’ll live to see his 89th birthday at the end of this month.

I’m sorry. I remember when my mother’s condition worsened and it became clear she didn’t have much time, it was very sad, even though her dementia really made her life not worth living. I hope this period of your father’s life goes peacefully for both of you.

DEBG,
I’m so sorry. I hope that in the midst of all of this that you can find solace and comfort.
Thinking of you and your family.

DebG, I’m so very sorry for your loss. I understand about the blessed release, but at the same time, grieving has its own schedule, and it’s different for everyone—and can pop up at some odd and unexpected times. I wish you and your family the strength and comfort you will need in time to come.

I didn’t need a study to tell me that cat connect to owners just as much as dogs do. But I suppose it’s nice for those that didn’t know.
Right!? People tell me all the time that cats wouldn’t love them the way their dogs love them. I tell them, they haven’t met my cats.
Ricky & Bibi's MomOctober 2, 2021 / 9:56 am
I think a lot of people just don’t understand the full range of cat-style expressions of love. Some cats seem quite dog-like in outward expression, with others, it’s quieter, and learning to understand that they trust you, which is no small thing. I’m sure there are other modes as well.

A little more better today. Waiting for a biopsy still. So tired.
Deb, sorry about your dad.
My older sister in hospital with pneumonia. Could be COVID related.
Be well.
More better is definitely good. I hope your sister does well.
EmsthemonsterOctober 1, 2021 / 5:00 pm
I hope for a little “even more better” for tomorrow both for you and your sister.
GeorgianaOctober 1, 2021 / 5:20 pm
One day at a time, hang in there we are all rooting for you.
KarOctober 2, 2021 / 3:12 am
I hope that you’re sister’s ok.
My mother is struggling with pneumonia as well. Nurse freaked me out by talking about hospice.
Ricky & Bibi's MomOctober 2, 2021 / 9:57 am
More better is better, and good to hear! Sending you healing thoughts and puppy kisses from Bibi, Queen of All She Surveys. Also pulling for your sister.
Wouldn’t it be easier to just get doggo a bed with weather-proof fabric for outside?
Ricky & Bibi's MomOctober 2, 2021 / 10:01 am
Possibly, but would it be as much fun? Not just for us, but for doggo. Some dogs need stuff to do. I don’t know if this is one of them, but I agree with the poster that he’s a clever boi.
Smart sunbathing goggie!

lol, I wouldn’t, either. I’ve driven Hyundai Elantras for almost 20 years. Expensive cars don’t excite me.

Fair enough.. 😋
Sorry, debG. You seem like a strong person with a good attitude. Duckie, I’m so glad you are better! May your sister be, also!
