The Cutetropolis Open tennis tournament was briefly delayed this weekend when little Timmy Woofley commandeered the entire supply of tennis balls and refused to let anyone near them. “Tennis balls are our friends,” insisted Woofley, “and it’s cruel to allow people to hit them with rackets for our amusement. Tennis ball rights now!” The tense standoff was defused when officials tossed a squeaky toy, which Woofley promptly chased and destroyed.

All toys are equal, but some toys are more equal than others.
Adorable puppy looks sooooo soft.
What a cutie pie!!
Such a beautiful fuzzy little baby. I can just feel that soft fine fur!!
Can I nibble those silky earsies?
Those earses look particularly nommable.
Still sick. Foot situation not improved one bit. Waiting to hear from another specialist about a biopsy and possible tissue graft. Too many drugs.
Sister and nephew in hospital with COVID. Rest of her family home sick or recovering from COVID. No one in my family taking this seriously. Only hubby and me vaccinated, so no one can come help me. Sister nearly died from COVID pneumonia. Other sister prefers to wait and see if someone in her house catches it before doing anything.
Sorry for venting, but I’m near the end of my rope. C’mere, puppy, I need a snorgle.
OMG. This is truly nightmarish. I’m so sorry your family can’t help you, but are instead adding to your worry and pain. I wish I could help beyond hoping very much you, and your family, feel better.
Oh Duckie! I wish I could help but I’m half a continent away 🙁
Please know that you have so many people — not just in Canada but in many places all around the world — sending you every single best wish possible.
Try not to stress over the situation that your family have placed themselves in. I know it is hard, but just try to focus on you getting better.
As my mom always used to tell me — “you are stronger than you think — keep your chin up!”. No idea if it worked or not, but it is worth a try 😉
Delicate, nonitrusive, respectful hugs sent to Duckie from the opposite side of the globe ❤❤❤
Duckie, like all the others, I am so sad you have to deal with all you’re dealing with and I agree, you have to look after yourself first and foremost. The anti-vaccine business is a puzzle for most of us and I doubt there’s much you can do, even if you were feeling chipper! Concentrate on getting yourself to better and better places and know we’re all on your side!
Sorry to hear the current treatment isn’t working. A second opinion sounds necessary. Hope the next doctor can find a better way to help you.
Duckie, I don’t even know what to say, except that I’m terribly sorry about what you’re going through. Keep holding on to that rope–we’re here to cheer you on.
Oh my goodness! Hang tightly to that rope. We’re here supporting you.
Timmy Woofley, prep school puppy, advocating for the rights of tennis balls!
Er… this pup and especially Mike’s prose is GOLDEN.
Good one FKA 😁!
Duckie – I can’t imagine your level of frustration with unvaxxed family members. Frustrating and so sad really.
J’s mom had some great advice! I concur!
In the meantime, take care of yourself.
Duckie, my household is constantly sending you good thoughts and healing purrs. So so sorry about your anti-vaxx relatives. Hope they–and especially you!–stay safe through all this.
