Since I’m not a coffee drinker, the best part of waking up would be a bunny in my cup. My precious Pepper used to get a second, small serving of greens, when my husband had his late breakfast on the weekends. Pepper knew when he was ready to sit down to eat and would run out of her room and have her extra greens beside my husband’s chair. We still miss that routine.
I’m surprised that leetle bun didn’t have his nose up, smelling that banana. Mine would have been all over it.
You’d have to get to Ann Arbor and grab it before it rains!

I would welcome looking into my coffee cup, water bottle or whatever and having that little surprise. Much better than coffee in my opinion. I would also give him the whole banana, not my favorite fruit. Now off to soak in the hot tub for a little and see if I can unkink my back.

Bunbun doesn’t look like a clear liquid, so off the menu for me today. I’m prepping for a colonoscopy tomorrow. Clear broth, jello, and ice pops that aren’t red, green or purple. Bleah. Do you know how hard it is to find jello and ice pops that aren’t those colors?!?!?!
I’m preemptively grouchy. The actual purge isn’t as bad (to me) as not being able to eat all day. At least I can still have my Diet Coke.
My doctor wants me to do that…I keep putting off making the appointment…

Do not put that off, Allein, please! The alternative to the test is way worse. We want you with us f’rever! And the prep is just annoying – the actual procedure is under anesthesia so you won’t know a thing. Unless you choose to forgo the anesthesia.

They do have an alternative if you’re considered low risk with no family history. I’m with Allen on not wanting to get it done, just so icky so I‘ve been doing an in-home test called Cologard. Only if there’s any unusual results do they send you for the full procedure.
Well, she said I had to see the gastroenterologist for an initial exam first so I guess it’s up to them.

Who here remembers that 70s show Banana Splits? I think it was done by that duo of comic weirdness Syd and Marty Kroft. I loved the show and the theme song but I think the Krofts partook in the 60s counter culture just a little too much.
