This is too much. It’s not enough that wombats get to be roly-poly zoomy little tanks. Nature couldn’t just create a creature that carries its young in a backwards pouch and stacks it’s own poop into cubes and leave it at that. Oh, noooo — it has to suck its thumb, too! Could you save some cuteness for the rest of us, please?!

Just shut the internet down, maximum cuteness has been achieved. Thunk. Ded.
That is so far beyond too much it’s got to be a lifelike cartoon, it’s just too cute to be real! I am *melted*!
Lethal. That’s all I can say. Frickin lethal. 🤯
I can’t improve on Mike’s commentary, so I’ll just go thunk myself.
Gah! Thunk. Ded.
Cat-herding day and Wombat Wednesday?!?!
As a former thumb-sucker, I can relate. Hopefully it won’t lead to 11 years of orthodontic treatment for him…
(My grandfather used to ask me if it was vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry. Chocolate, of course.)
Naturally, the human is massaging a hind paw while wombat is sucking its thumb. Wouldn’t you?
That’s just toooo precious. I wonder if that’s common for baby wombats.
I have no words … DED!
Well, that’s me rendered useless for the rest of the day.
Off topic: just got back from seeing the nurse. When I first went for wound care, the bigger sore was 2cmX2cm and all open. Today, the bigger sore is 1cmX.7cm, and the open area is slightly bigger than the head of a pin!
Yay!
Great news!
Glad to hear your sores are healing, so something must be finally working. Hope it continues.
Hallelujah!
That’s wonderful
woo hooo!
Just *ded*…😵
Wombat looks so very very cozy. And so silky! I join the rest of you in a communal grave of cuteness.
Duckie, congrats on your improving wound!
